ABOUT THE JOB

Are you passionate about storytelling, food, and creating engaging digital content? We are looking for a creative freelance Social Media & Content Manager to become an extension of our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Instagram presence of Saint-Jean Bakery and Saint-Jean Deli, ensuring our content reflects the quality, craftsmanship, and personality behind our brands. Working closely with our founder and photographer, you’ll plan content, write captions, organise photos and videos, and create a consistent publishing schedule aligned with our seasonal products, launches, and events.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on-site to capture authentic moments—from fresh pastries coming out of the oven to the energy of our team and customers. You’ll help us create more behind-the-scenes content, Reels, Stories, and engaging posts that strengthen our connection with our community.

Beyond Instagram, you’ll also support our email newsletters, helping us communicate with our customers in a thoughtful and inspiring way.

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced in managing Instagram accounts for hospitality, food, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands

• A natural storyteller with an excellent eye for photography, video, and visual aesthetics

• Confident writing engaging captions and adapting your tone of voice to match a brand

• Passionate about creating authentic content, including Stories, Reels, and behind-the-scenes videos

• Organised and experienced in planning and managing a content calendar

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with our team

• Proactive, creative, and always bringing fresh ideas to the table

• Experienced with newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo (or eager to learn)

• Confident using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools

• You are based in Amsterdam and available to visit our bakery and deli regularly to create live content and stay connected with the business

• Available for an ongoing freelance collaboration with flexible working hours
