Shop Supervisor

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Shop Supervisor at SAINT-JEAN, you will play a key role in leading our daily shop operations and ensuring that every guest receives the warm, thoughtful experience we are known for. You will support the General Manager in overseeing the team at the Bakery and the Deli, upholding the SAINT-JEAN service standards, and maintaining a seamless flow between the coffee bar, food counter, and customer areas.

Your role will involve hands-on leadership — from making specialty coffees and ensuring perfect product presentation, to managing daily tasks, motivating the team, and handling operational details with care. You will help drive sales, maintain efficiency, and create an inspiring and supportive work environment that reflects our community spirit.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellence — every cup, every pastry, every day.

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced as a barista with at least one prior role in a café environment

• Confident in pouring quality latte art and passionate about specialty coffee

• Outgoing and personable, with a friendly and approachable nature

• Eager to learn and open to feedback to grow your skills

• Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

• A team player with excellent communication skills

• Able to take initiative and work autonomously when needed

• Willing to assist in all daily shop duties, including taking orders, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness

• Available for weekday shifts and at least one weekend day

• Able to commit full time 38 hours per week

• Starting date end January/February 2026
